Condolence & Memory Journal

Ruby, Randy, Joy

I am so sorry to learn of Chip's passing. I have so many fond memories of Jimmy .back to the Little League Bears in the 60's and years before and after. His friendly and easy going personality made an impact on me at a young age and I always enjoyed being around him when our families would get together. I remember him throwing the football with me as I was about to start high school and his suggestion that if I was going to play football, I should try out for a receiver position. I admired his athleticism, but most of all I admired the man he was.

As you know he was a very close friend of Dad's and they had many fun experiences together. He served as a pallbearer for Dad when he was laid to rest. And Ruby, I'll never forget the support and concern you showed for Mom as she battled cancer during the months before her passing. You and Jimmy and the friendship of our families were and continue to be very special to me. There were not many times when I called home to check in with Mom and Dad that Jimmy and Ruby did not come up in our conversation.

I love you both very much. Ruby, Randy and Joy..you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength and comfort. With my deepest sympathy, Danny Brown and Family.
